England defender, Kyle Walker, has joined Serie A side, AC Milan on loan from Manchester City until the end of the 2024/25 season with an option for the Italian club to make the move permanent.

“AC Milan is pleased to announce the loan signing of Kyle Andrew Walker from Manchester City FC, with an option to buy,” the club revealed in a statement announcing the move for Walker.

The former Manchester City captain becomes the fourth English player at the San Siro club as he joins Fikayo Tomori, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Tammy Abraham.

Manchester City boss, Pep Guardiola, revealed earlier in January after the 8-0 win over Salford City in the FA Cup third round that Walker made known his intention to leave the club and explore options abroad.

Having fulfilled that desire, 34-year-old Walker will wear the number 32 shirt at Milan and could make his debut when Sergio Conceicao’s side host Parma in a Serie A match on Sunday.
