VIDEO: No Splash Bros, No Problems as Golden State Warriors Still Make it Rain at Portland

It was raining threes at Moda Center as the Golden State Warriors poured in 20 of them on their way to a dominant 140-104 win over the Portland Trailblazers in their curtain raiser for the 2024-25 season.

They may be without one of the Splash Bros after Klay Thompson switched Cali for Dallas, but Buddy Hield provided a sneak peek of what’s to come by making five shots out of seven attempts from beyond the arc.

31-year-old Hield’s debut after joining from Philadelphia 76ers was as efficient as they come, seeing him lead the scoring despite being on the court for 15 minutes only.

Check out how the Bahamian and the Warriors brushed aside an early deficit against the Trailblazers to record a big win.
