Bayer Leverkusen and Nigeria striker, Victor Boniface, has cause to give high praise to God as he did on Snapchat on Sunday morning when revealing he survived a terrible looking car crash.
Details of what caused the crash remain unconfirmed so far, but the Leverkusen star survived with injuries as a clip shows his bloody hand as a result of the accident.
It caps an eventful week for the 23-year-old, who was the match-winner for Leverkusen only hours before the car accident in a Bundesliga clash with Eintracht Frankfurt.
Before the match, Boniface was among the Nigeria squad that was stranded for over 15 hours at Al-Abraq airport in Libya where they were meant to play a qualifying match for AFCON 2025.
The Super Eagles had been diverted from their original destination in Benghazi to the Al Abraq Airport, sparking outrage from the squad and fans over the treatment meted on the Nigeria squad.
Check out photos and a clip from the crash. (warning: bloody image)
