World Champion, Max Verstappen, returned to winning ways with a dominant drive at the Circuit of the Americas to win the US Grand Prix ahead of Championship rivals, Lando Norris, and the Ferrari drivers.
Verstappen went into the sprint race in pole position and never looked in danger of relinquishing that position throughout the race in Austin, Texas, maintaining his unbeaten record in the short-form race format this season.
The RedBull Racing driver has now won 11 sprint races since the format was introduced in 2021. An astounding stat as the rest of the field have only won the race format five times combined.
Ferrari’s Carlos Sainz edged Lando Norris of McLaren to finish second after Sainz passed the British driver in the final lap. Charles Leclerc crossed the line in fourth place, ahead of Mercedes duo, George Russell and Lewis Hamilton respectively.
