The 28-year-old, who came into the event off the back an impressive outing at the Paris Diamond League last weekend, showed why she was deemed the favourite by cruising to an easy victory as she crossed line in first place in a time of 12.45s.

Amusan won the race ahead of Slovakia’s Viktoria Forster, who came second in a season’s best time of 12.74s. Sarah Lavin of Republic of Ireland crossed the line in third place, also setting a season’s best time of 12.76s in the race.
