Real Madrid manager, Carlo Ancelotti, has revealed that his side is confident ahead of Sunday’s El Clasico against Barcelona in the Spanish Super Cup Final.

Los Blancos will renew their rivalry with their old foes in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on Sunday night – with Ancelotti saying the squad is in good shape ahead of the clash.

“We’re going into a Final in good shape, as always. We’re excited and eager. The problems we had against Mallorca have been resolved and everyone is available,” the Italian said.

Ancelotti added, “A final against Barcelona is always special, it adds pressure. They’re a historic rival and the games are always very competitive. It will be very difficult for us and for them.”

Madrid will have revenge on their agenda, having succumbed to a humiliating 4-0 defeat in front of home fans at the Bernabeu when both teams met in La Liga last October.

“We’re going to play very well, not well, but very well. This title has value,” Ancelotti said ahead of the clash. “When we win the Super Cup, the season ends up being good, winning the League and the Champions League. It’s a game that gives you a lot of momentum to keep going well.”
