The 2024/25 football league season is fast approaching, which means some of the big names in the sport will unveil their new threads for the upcoming season.
While a lot of them already unveiled their home kit towards the end of last season, this period has seen clubs unveil their new away kits, with a few unveiling their home kits too.
Check out some of the new shirts that have been released lately:
Chelsea
Cole Palmer was among England’s shining stars at Euro 2024 despite limited playing minutes. He is seen here posing in Chelsea’s new home kit.
Bayern Munich
Leroy Sane and Harry Kane formed a good partnership in Kane’s debut season for the Bavarians. They will be hoping for better fortunes this year after ending last season without a trophy.
Arsenal
The Gunners are celebrating their connection to Africa with their new away thread.
Declan Rice for instance was unveiled after his arrival from West Ham United using Nigerian music star Odumodu Blvck’s hit single aptly titled ‘Declan Rice’.
Juventus
The Old Lady maintains their famous white and black strip for the new season in which they hope to dethrone reigning champs, Inter Milan.
Real Madrid
Another club maintaining a famous colour to their name is Real Madrid, as seen here when Kylian Mbappe was unveiled to 80,000 fans at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu.
FC Barcelona
Barcelona still have the colours, but the stripes have been replaced with two blocks of the red and blue they’re famous for.
Bonus: Serie C side Latina Calcio
The Serie C team’s home and away kits are inspired by the legend of Ulysses and Circe from Homer’s Odyssey.
