Nigeria’s Super Falcons and Atletico Madrid star, Rasheedat Ajibade, is sponsoring 11 Lagos State coaches for the third batch of NIS/LSFA Coaching Certification Course.
This was revealed by Media Coordinator, Lagos State Football Association (LSFA), Akeem Busari, who said this in a statement on Monday in Lagos.
Busari said Ajibade paid for the training of the coaches through the Rasheedat Ajibade Foundation (RAF), also pledging to continue to give back to the society and mentor young girls who desire a career in sports.
Also, the LSFA Chairman, Gafar Liameed, gave thanks to the Atletico Madrid star, commending her for giving the coaches an opportunity to improve their knowledge of the game.
The LSFA Chairman also assured that the coaches would get the necessary certification to operate as licensed coaches and called on well-meaning individuals and corporate organisations to replicate the gesture and sponsor several programs and activities of the LSFA.
