Nigerian midfielder and Leicester City star, Wilfred Ndidi, has been given a special plaque to mark the milestone of his 200th appearance in the Premier League.
Ndidi marked the milestone on a high note as Leicester City claimed a dramatic 3-2 win over Southampton in a recent Premier League match thanks to Jordan Ayew’s injury-time winner for the visitors.
The midfielder has now received the award to commemorate his accomplishment at a club he joined in January 2017 from Belgian side, Genk, for a fee of £17 million.
27-year-old Ndidi has since become an essential member of the Foxes’ midfield, making 282 total appearances for the club and winning the FA Cup in 2021.
Ndidi also helped the club win the Championship title in 2024 as the Foxes made a quick return to the Premier League this season following relegation from the English top-flight back in 2023.
