Eric Chelle is scheduled to be in Nigeria and watch a number of matches in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL), following his short tour of Europe in which the Super Eagles head coach met with a number of internationals ahead of March’s FIFA World Cup qualifying double-header.
The recently appointed Super Eagles coach met with the likes of Alex Iwobi, Calvin Bassey, Wilfred Ndidi, Moses Simon and more to get familiar with the players before the next international break comes around.
Remains to be seen which matches Chelle, first assistant Hedi Taboubi, and others will watch in the NPFL when they return to the country.
Apart from watching NPFL matches, Chelle is expected to be in Nigeria before the end of February along with his backroom staff to meet and brief Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) officials on preparations for the qualifying matches.
