Golden State Warriors have claimed a 134-125 win over Memphis Grizzlies to take fifth spot in the West following an inspired display from Steph Curry in the NBA on Tuesday night.
Curry made 12 3s and finished with 52 points to give the Warriors a crucial victory and pass Jerry West to become 25th on the all-time scoring list in the league.
The former MVP was scorching in the first half, with 32 points from 11 for 16 field goals and eight from 10 beyond the arc. Curry would end the night by becoming the first to post 50= points, 10+ 3s and five or more steals in a match.
Curry has also now passed Los Angeles lakers star LeBron James and the retired Rick Barry to have the sixth-most career 50-point games in NBA history (15), tied with Milwaukee Bucks star, Damian Lillard.
