Spanish youngster Samu Omorodion is now all set to become a Chelsea player as reports indicate an agreement over a £35 million transfer from Atlético Madrid has been reached.
Omorodion, who is part of Spain’s Olympic football team preparing to face host nation France in the gold medal match, has put pen to a seven-year contract at Stamford Bridge according to Fabrizio Romano.
The transfer news expert also revealed the striker, whom Bayer Leverkusen and other clubs tried to sign, has been booked to have his medicals ahead of the move becoming official.
Omorodion’s move sets off a domino which will see Julian Alvarez and Conor Gallagher head to Atletico from Manchester City and Chelsea respectively.
