Tottenham Hotspur are through to the Carabao Cup semi-final after emerging victorious over Manchester United at the end of a chaotic second half that saw six goals scored evenly between them, including an stunning Heung-min Son goal.

It all started when Dominic Solanke broke the deadlock after 15 minutes, latching on to the rebound after United goalkeeper, Altay Bayindir, pushed a long-range shot from Pedro Porro to his path.

While the rest of the first half went by without another goal, it took a minute of the second half for Spurs to double their advantage through Dejan Kulusevski before Solanke made it 3-0 10 minutes into the second half.

One would be forgiven for thinking it was over for United, but substitutes, Joshua Zirkzee and Amad Diallo, made Fraser Forster pay for two errors in six minutes as the Red Devils came within a goal of levelling the tie with 20 minutes to go.

Son Heung-min then scored straight from the corner-kick in the 88th minute to give Spurs some breathing space. However, United struck again in the fourth minute of added time when Johnny Evans headed in Diallo’s corner-kick, but Spurs held on for a dramatic win.
