Sinner Crushes Rival to Advance at Roland Garros as Djokovic Marches On

World number one Jannik Sinner has maintained his imperious form at the French Open following a crushing straight sets win over Jiri Lehecka to reach the fourth round, along with three-time champion, Novak Djokovic on Saturday.

Sinner dropped only three games in a ruthless display in Paris, starting by winning 11 straight games to start the match on his way to a 6-0, 6-1, 6-2 win over his Czech opponent in just one hour and 35 minutes.

The Italian will now face 17th seed Andrey Rublev for a place in the quarter-finals, after the Russian saw his French Opponent, Arthur Fils, withdraw due to injury.

Meanwhile, Djokovic will meet Cameron Norrie in the fourth round after the Serbian tennis legend saw off 23-year-old Filip Misolic 6-3, 6-4, 6-2 to get 99th clay court career win in his third round clash.

In other games, Alexander Zverev saw off unseeded Italian Flavio Cobolli 6-2, 7-6, 6-1 to book a place in the fourth round where the third seed will meet Tallon Griekspoor after the Dutchman got a 4-6, 6-1, 6-7, 6-1, 6-4 victory over Ethan Quinn of the United States.
