23-year-old Serbian Defender Strahinja Pavlovic has landed in Italy as a move from Austrian side FC Red Bull Salzburg to Serie A giants AC Milan nears completion.
Pavlovic has agreed a five-year deal with the 2022 Italian league champions in a total package worth more than €18m plus €2m in add-ons as per Fabrizio Romano.
The 6ft 4in tall central defender is expected to officially sign as a new AC Milan player on Tuesday after conducting medical tests.
Previously with Ligue 1 side AS Monaco, Pavlovic made a total of 26 appearances for Salzburg in the Austrian Bundesliga last season. He was also selected in Serbia’s squad for the UEFA Euro 2024, playing in all three group stage matches.
