Sports stars preferably shy away from political talk in most cases, but when it’s an issue as big as the Presidential elections in the United States, the draw is usually hard to resist and a few of the biggest sports stars have taken a bite.
Nigerian-American UFC star, Kamaru Usman, has pitched his tent with the Republican candidate, Donald Trump, and met with the former President who’s hoping to return to the White House by winning the elections tonight.

In a recent post on social media, the NBA superstar made his choice loud and clear, backing Kamala Harris to go from VP to President of the United States, stating, “What are we even talking about here?? When I think about my kids and my family and how they will grow up, the choice is clear to me. VOTE KAMALA HARRIS!!!”
Antonio Brown & Le’Veon Bell
Former Steelers players Antonio Brown and Le’Veon Bell backed Donald Trump at the Latrope rally in Pennsylvania, with Brown leading the crowd to chant, “Let’s vote for Trump!” He also led them in a “Here we go Steelers” chant.
Jake Paul
The celebrity boxer, who is preparing for a bout against boxing legend Mike Tyson, has thrown his weight behind Donald Trump becoming the next President of the United States.
Although Paul rescinded his right to vote when he moved to Puerto Rico, he still has major influence in the United States and is using that to get votes for the Republican candidate.
Megan Rapinoe
The United States Women’s National Team legend is a known ‘anti-Trump’ person and during a recent episode of her podcast, the soccer star revealed her hope that the US avoids the grim, dark reality that awaits if Trump becomes President.
“It is stressful. I am nervous but I also am hopeful. I believe in people and I certainly believe in women and I believe that people want better than the grim, dark, just violent reality that Donald Trump has very clearly laid out for us,” Rapinoe said.
Steph Curry
Golden State Warriors star, Steph Curry, has also voiced his support for Kamala Harris to become President on different occasions, including at the Team USA camp for the 2024 Olympic Games.
Curry also made a surprise appearance at the Democratic National Convention in September to endorse Kamala Harris for US president. In his message, the Olympic gold medallist said: “This is about preserving hope and belief in our country … The Oval Office suits her well … it’s an honour to support Kamala. Let’s all do our part.”
Harrison Butker
The Kansas City Chiefs kicker revealed in October that he will be voting for Donald Trump due to Kamala Harris’ pro-abortion stance, something he is firmly against as a devout Christian.
“I’m supporting the president that’s going to be the most pro-life president,” Butker said at a campaign event for U.S. Senator Josh Hawley in Missouri.
Caitlin Clark
Arguably the WNBA’s biggest prospect and reigning Rookie of the Year, Caitlin Clark, hinted at backing Kamala Harris over Donald Trump back in September when she liked a social media post from Taylor Swift backing the Democratic candidate for the election.
When asked about the election later, Clark said, “I think for myself it’s the second time I can vote in an election at 22. I could vote when I was 18. So, I think that’s the biggest thing I can do with the platform that I have. And that’s the same thing Taylor did.”

Speaking of Taylor Swift, her boyfriend Travis Kelce is said to be proud of her for coming out to take a stand between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump.
