Bukayo Saka found the net just six minutes after coming off the bench to help Arsenal edge Fulham 2-1 in a Premier League match at the Emirates Stadium on Tuesday night.

The England international spent 101 days on the sidelines but needed just over six minutes after replacing Ethan Nwaneri to score Arsenal’s second goal midway through the second half.

Arsenal started off on a low note after watching star defender, Gabriel, go off injured just 15 minutes into the London derby with Jakub Kiwior replacing the Brazilian.

Mikel Merino broke the deadlock for the Gunners 10 minutes before the break, getting on the end of Nwaneri’s ball to score his sixth goal in the Premier League this season.

The Cottagers remained in the contest but found it hard to get a goal back, with Saka’s header from close range off Gabriel Martinelli’s flick-on doubling Arsenal’s advantage.

Rodrigo Muniz got a goal back deep in stoppage time but it was too little too late as the Gunners held on to claim an important win, which takes Arsenal to 61 points after 30 games – nine points behind Liverpool, who have a game in hand.
