Manchester United head coach, Ruben Amorim, has stated his preference regarding the future of England forward, Marcus Rashford, amid speculations linking him with an exit from Old Trafford.
Rashford has risen through the club ranks, from the academy to the first team. However, he has been out of the team for recent matches, with his absence from the squad altogether for the Manchester derby raising eyebrows.
Yet, Amorim has made it clear that he wants Rashford to stay at the club, even with the player’s recent hints about seeking a new challenge. According to Amorim, Rashford is a big talent and it is such calibre of talent that makes the Red Devils a better team.
“We are better with Marcus Rashford, and it’s that simple. We will try different things to push Rashford to the best levels that he has shown me in the past,” the United boss said ahead of the League Cup showdown against Tottenham Hotspur.
