Manchester United are reportedly preparing to sell first-choice goalkeeper Andre Onana this summer, amidst interest from the Saudi Pro League.

The Red Devils are said to have run out of patience with the inconsistent shot-stopper according to The Sun, and are ready to ship him off at the end of the campaign.

United manager Ruben Amorim is already preparing a shortlist of goalkeepers who can replace the Cameroonian as the club’s new number one. The report adds that if SPL clubs firm up their plans and Onana is eventually sold, Amorim and the United management will seek a younger replacement.

Amorim reportedly has his eyes on 22-year-old Royal Antwerp goalkeeper, Senne Lammens, who was recently named in the latest Belgium squad for their Nations League matches.

The other option on United’s shortlist is Lille’s Lucas Chevalier, a player who is courting interest from both Manchester United and Manchester City.

Lammens is currently rated at around £30 million, while Lille are expected to demand a fee in the region of £40 million. Both players’ existing contracts with their respective clubs run until the summer of 2027.
