Manchester City midfielder, Rodri, has provided an update on how he is feeling in his recovery from the injury which has kept him on the sidelines all season.

The Spanish star went off with a torn cruciate ligament midway through the first-half of a 2-2 draw at home to Arsenal last September, undergoing a surgery on the damaged knee.

“I’m feeling very good. In my head, everything is fine. I don’t feel unstable in the knee. I need to get the strength in the quads and everything. That’s the most important thing,“ Rodri said during his time in the United States.

The 28-year-old added, “One thing is what you think and another is what the body does, so you have to make sure that they connect again. I’m feeling good. In this kind of moment, I try to be positive and maybe do all the things you’re not used to – like coming here.“

During his time in the US, Rodri attended the Super Bowl LIX, visited the NFL exhibition, and met up with City’s Official Supporters Club branch in New Orleans. Rodri also trained at facilities of the New Orleans Pelicans and the Saints under supervision of Tom O’Malley – City’s Head of Rehabilitation.
