Robin Van Persie Set To Become New Feyenoord Boss

Feyenoord are on the verge of appointing former Arsenal forward Robin van Persie as the club’s new manager.

Van Persie is in charge of Heerenveen at the moment, but reports suggest that a deal with Feyenoord will be completed soon, which means Feyenoord would have to pay compensation in order to release him from his contract.

The Dutch Eredivisie club’s Champions League knockout phase playoff victory against AC Milan means they progress to the next round where they could potentially face Van Persie’s former club, Arsenal, in the Round-of-16.

If all goes according to plan, Van Persie could be set for a potential reunion with the Gunners, with whom he scored 132 goals for Arsenal during his stint in North London.

Van Persie could also face former teammate and current Arsenal gaffer Mikel Arteta, who has stated before what a great coach he would be in the future.
