Olympique Marseille and former Brighton coach, Roberto de Zerbi, has made his choice concerning the approach from Tottenham Hotspur to replace Ange Postecoglu as the Premier League side’s head coach.
Spurs are seeking a new manager after club chairman Daniel Levy sacked Ange Postecoglou on Friday, just two weeks after the Australian guided the Lilywhites to the UEFA Europa League title.
While Postecoglu was able to secure Champions League qualification for Spurs, the London side lost 22 games in the Premier League and finished 17th at the end of the season, leading to his exit.
But De Zerbi has turned down talks with Spurs to stick with OM, according to Fabrizio Romano. The Italian has two years to run on his deal at Marseille.
De Zerbi moved to the Velodrome a year ago after leaving Brighton and guided them to runners up and Champions League qualification in his first season.
