In another match played at the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne, Remo Stars battled Kwara United to a goalless draw in a display of solid defensive capabilities from both sides.
The competition which kicked off on Wednesday saw Remo Stars B play out a 1-1 draw with Ikorodu City, while defending champions Shooting Stars fell 1-0 to Al Merrikh of Sudan.
