Arda Guler is set to be in the starting line-up when Real Madrid file out against La Liga leaders Barcelona in the latest installment of the El Clasico this weekend.
The Turkey international has been struggling for game time since his arrival at the club, but is now gaining importance in manager Carlo Ancelotti’s plans.
Guler put up a excellent cameo appearance against Barcelona in the recent Copa del Rey Final and was a starter in the 3-2 victory over Celta Vigo.
Spanish publication Relevo reports that Carlo Ancelotti has decided that the Turkish midfielder will start in the El Clasico against Barcelona on Sunday, in what is potentially a title decider for the La Liga crown.
Guler has scored 5 goals and provided 8 assists in 31 official appearances this season so far, although he has only started 14 times under Ancelotti.
