Remo Stars clinched a first Nigeria Premier Football League title following a 1-0 win over Niger Tornadoes on Sunday, opening an unassailable 10-point lead over second placed Rivers United with three games left to play.
As a result, fellow NPFL outfit, Bayelsa United, took to social media to congratulate Remo Stars for the title triumph, with a sly twist to the joy they were feeling for the newly-crowned champions.
