23-year-old Super Falcons striker Jennifer “Joe” Echegini has joined French side Paris Saint-Germaine Women for an undisclosed fee from five-time Italian league champions Juventus.

The Nigeria international has signed a three-year contract with the Parisians until June 2027, having spent just six months in Turin, where she made an impression.

Echegini scored 10 goals and provided one assist in 16 appearances for the Italian side in all competitions within the period, winning the award for best U23 player of the season in June.

“I wanted to take this moment and share my gratitude for the time we have shared,” the striker wrote in a farewell message to Juve. “Living and playing in Turin has been an amazing journey filled with a lot of growing and learning for me.”

Commenting on her move to the French capital, Echegini said, “I’m very excited and grateful to be part of such an extraordinary club. Something I always wanted in my career. I want to be part of a club with great history. I want to win trophies.”

Echegini is joined in PSG by Romée Leuchter who has also signed a contract until June 2027 with the club from Dutch side Ajax Women where she was the club’s all-time leading scorer.
