Manchester United will embark on a pre-season tour of the United States of America in the summer, ahead of the 2025/2026 football campaign.

The Red Devils have endured a torrid season, littered with underwhelming results which saw them part ways with Erik ten Hag and appointed Ruben Amorim last year.

It will be the third consecutive year that United will be having pre-season preparations in the USA and they will look to regroup in the hopes of faring better (in terms of results) when the new season starts.

United will play against three Premier League clubs – West Ham United, AFC Bournemouth and Everton – in matches scheduled for July and August.

The tour will begin with a 3,334-mile flight from Manchester to New Jersey, where they will face West Ham at the MetLife Stadium on July 26th.

Following that, the Red Devils will travel 782 miles to Chicago to play the Cherries on July 30th. The final leg of the journey will then see United head to Atlanta-Georgia, where they will play their last match of the pre-season against Everton at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

After facing the Toffees, United will then make the 4,080-mile flight home from Georgia to Manchester.

“The facilities in the US provide a world-class environment for players to come and prepare for the upcoming season and bond as a group,” Club legend Andy Cole said about United’s pre-season plans.

He added, “Playing three Premier League sides, in three iconic stadiums, will be a great advert for the quality of the league. United have a vast following in the US, and I know they will be tremendously excited about the prospect of watching and engaging with the team when they return this summer.”
