Aston Villa striker, Jhon Duran, is now set to become a new Al Nassr player and feature alongside Cristiano Ronaldo, Sadio Mane and more after completing his medicals in London on Thursday.

Duran became a target for the Saudi Pro League side soon after talks between the club and Victor Boniface also started, with interest in the Bayer Leverkusen man going cold in favour of Villa’s Colombian striker.

Having completed his medical now, Duran is set to fly out to Saudi Arabia on Friday and finalise his move to Al Nassr. According to The Athletic, Duran is set to sign a five-and-a-half-year contract with Al Nassr after Villa agreed to a €77 million transfer fee.

Duran’s imminent exit from Vila Park likely means the club will be unwilling to entertain any further interest in Ollie Watkins from Arsenal having turned down a £60 million bid earlier this week.

For Boniface, the Nigerian is now expected to remain at Bayer Leverkusen, though it remains to be seen if he will sign a contract extension which the club reportedly offered as the Al Nassr interest first came up.
