Rising Portuguese midfield star Joao Neves has reached an agreement to join Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain in a deal worth over £50 million plus £7 millions in add-ons.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the deal will also include another Portugal midfielder Renato Sanches heading the other way to Benfica where it all started for the 26-year-old.
Neves on his part is expected to travel to Paris and undergo his medicals this week before putting pen to paper on a five-year contract.
The 19-year-old enjoyed a breakout season at Benfica, earning himself a place in Roberto Martinez’s Portugal squad at Euro 2024 where he also put up solid displays.
