A late rally by the Los Angeles Clippers served up a tense finish in the NBA clash against Phoenix Suns as two in-form teams faced off at the Footprint Center in Arizona on Monday night.
The Clippers went from 11 points down with less than three minutes left in the game to within a point of the Suns with 40 seconds to play, only for the Suns to hang on and claim a 111-109 win after making enough foul shots.
Devin Booker and Kevin Durant combined for 50 points to lead the Suns over the line against the Clippers led in scoring by Ivica Zubac with 25 points along with 16 rebounds for a double double.
Zubac was one of three Clippers to finish with 20+ points, with James Harden also ending the night with a double double of 24 points and 10 assists.
