Fermin Lopez of Barcelona starred as the Spanish U23 men’s football team recorded an easy win against Japan at the Olympics on Friday.
La Furia Roja opened the floodgates early on in the first half via a left footed stunner from the Barcelona attacking midfielder.
21-year-old Lopez doubled the lead with another scorcher from distance in the 73rd minute to seal his brace. A late Abel Ruiz goal sealed the game for Santi Denia’s charges.
