As Napoli continue looking for options to boost Antonio Conte’s squad while dealing with the Victor Osimhen transfer saga, the Partenopei have reached a deal on personal terms with Benfica attacker, David Neres.
Napoli have brought in Alessandro Buongiorno from Torino, Rafa Marin from Real Madrid, and Leonardo Spinazzola and Matija Popovic on free transfers so far in this summer’s transfer window.
The former Ajax star is reportedly close to a permanent transfer to 2022/23 Serie A champions in a deal that could reach €25 million for the Portugal Primera Liga side as per Fabrizio Romano.
The 27-year-old scored five goals and provided 10 assists for Benfica last season.
