Victor Osimhen was on target for Galatasaray for the second time in four days as the Turkish giants had to settle for a draw with Dynamo Kyiv in a Europa League clash on Tuesday in Istanbul.
Davinson Sanchez and Abdulkerim Bardakci had Galatasaray 2-0 up by the midway point of the first half before Osimhen restored the two-goal lead less than 10 minutes into the second half after Vladyslav Valat had pulled one back for the Ukrainian club just before half-time.
But just like in the last time out in the Super Lig for Gala, they had to settle for a share of the spoils, this time after former Everton man, Andriy Yarmalenko scored twice to steal a point for Dynamo.
The result moves Galatasaray up to fifth in the league phase standings of the Europa League, three points off the top although that could change by the end of the match-day seven on Thursday.
