Former Nigeria international, Taye Taiwo, has been inducted in the Legends Club of French Ligue 1 giants, Olympique Marseille.
39-year-old Taiwo featured for Marseille between 2005 and 2011 after joining for around $200,000 from Lobi Stars, going on to make over 250 appearances for the club.
During his time at the club, Taiwo became known for his long range shooting ability, scoring 23 goals for the club during his six-year spell at l’OM.
He won the Ligue 1 title once for the club, along with one UEFA Intertoto Cup, one Trophees des Champions and two Coupe de la Ligue titles before leaving for AC Milan in 2011.
