Super Eagles goalkeeper, Stanley Nwabali, has been thrown into mourning following the death of his mother, which comes less than two months after the passing of his father.
“Rip mom, worst year of my life already,” the Chippa United of South Africa goalkeeper stated as he revealed the sad incident in a social media post on New Year’s Day.
Reacting to the news, the Nigerian national team sent a condolence message of support to their man between the sticks.
“Our heartfelt condolences to Stanley Nwabali on the loss of his mother. Stay strong, Stanley. Sending you strength and support during this difficult time. You are not alone; we are all with you,” the Super Eagles stated.
Nwabali previously lost his dad to the cold hands of death in November 2024.
