Ruben Amorim has seen a long unbeaten run brought to an end as Manchester United lose 3-2 to Nottingham Forest in a Premier League match at Old Trafford on Saturday.
The shock result is the first time Manchester United’s head coach has lost a home match since February 2023 when he was still at Sporting Lisbon.
It is also a second straight loss in the Premier League, having lost 2-0 to Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium in midweek, leaving the Red Devils down in 13th with 19 points.
Forest on their part move up to fifth on the Premier League table with 25 points, ahead of Aston Villa on goal difference and two points behind Manchester City that played out a 2-2 draw at Crystal Palace on Saturday.
