Tolu Arokodare has left his manager at Belgian Pro League side, Genk, with nothing but praise to shower him following his recent displays for the club.
Thorsten Fink has taken note of Arokodare’s improvement over the last year, as the striker has scored 12 goals in 21 games this season to almost match his return from last term in which he scored 15 goals in 52 games.
“Tolu is a top striker. He is fast, strong in the air, left and right-footed, and he scores,” Fink said to Nieuwsblad. “Moreover, he now also carries out his defensive duties, which he didn’t do before.”
The 24-year-old scored a goal and provided another as Genk bounced back from defeat against Club Brugge to get a 2-0 win over Anderlecht to go top of the Pro League, three points ahead of Club Brugge.
