The Super Eagles of Nigeria will resume their quest to reach the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco when Libya come calling in Uyo for the latest round of qualifying matches across the African continent.

Nigeria head into the match top of Group D with four points from two games, while the north Africans are bottom with one point only and needing a win to brighten their qualifying prospects.

Team News
Nigeria will be without Galatasaray striker, Victor Osimhen, and Orlando Pirates defender, Olisa Ndah, no thanks to injuries although Super Eagles interim Head Coach, Austin Eguavoen, is confident others in the squad can step up.

“It’s a huge miss and we all know how important and impactful Osimhen can be, but we have other players who can step into his shoes,” Eguavoen stated ahead of the match at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium.

Head-to-Head History
This crunch qualifying clash will be the fifth meeting between both sides, with the previous four meetings ending with the Nigeria national team winning all four matches.
