Carabao Cup winners, Newcastle United, will embark on an open-top bus parade later this month to celebrate the team’s success in the competition over the weekend.

Newcastle ended their 70-year wait for domestic glory with an impressive 2-1 victory over Liverpool, courtesy of goals from Dan Burn and Alexander Isak as they lifted the Carabao Cup at Wembley on Sunday.

The Geordies are set to continue the celebrations with their fans and supporters as they take the trophy back to Tyneside, with initial reports revealing that the bus parade would be delayed, suggesting that it would be likely to see one scheduled for the end of the season due to the ongoing international break.

However, Newcastle United have now teased that the planned celebrations will take place on Saturday, March 29th, with full details still to be confirmed.  The club posted the message “Save the date. 29 March 2025” on their social media platforms, with the caption “busy?”.

Meanwhile, several players from the squad will be joining their respective national sides for the latest installment of the international break. On the other hand, the remaining players not called up for international duty will fly out to Dubai for a period of warm-weather training, taking their trophy with them to the United Arab Emirates.
