Release date for the hugely anticipated Assassin’s Creed Shadows has been moved till Valentine’s Day of 2025. Set in Feudal Japan and built around two characters, samurai Yasuke and shinobui Naoe, ACS was previously set to be launched in November.
In a statement by the game’s developers, more time is needed to finish the game. “This is an ambitious addition to the franchise, a rich experience that can be lived through the eyes of two unique protagonists – but we realize we need more time to polish and refine the experience, pushing further some of our key features.”
The statement went on to plead with gamers on the understandably ‘disappointing news’, assuring that the decision has been made with the best interest of the game and players’ experience in mind.
