Super Eagles and Leicester City star, Wilfred Ndidi, has brought festive cheer to the children of Ajegunle by coming around to celebrate the holidays with them and handing them gifts.
“I just want to create memories for the kids,” Ndidi said at the new Maracana Sports Center where the Christmas celebration with 2,000 kids in collaboration with the Nathaniel Idowu Foundation.
He added, “The happiness on the faces of the children too can’t be explained. When you do something for adults, the emotions stay with them only but when you do something for kids, the adults see it as well, so they also try to do the same.”
Ndidi, who is recovering from a hamstring injury at the moment, was on hand to serve guests at the event and hand out food items to the children of the community.
