Super Eagles attacker Moses Simon has finalised a summer move from FC Nantes to newly-promoted French Ligue 1 outfit Paris FC, following the completion of a medical on Tuesday.
The 29-year-old Nigeria international, who has been a mainstay in Les Canaris’ squad since his arrival in 2020, finished the 2024/25 campaign with eight goals and 10 assists in the French top-flight which stirred interest from several teams.
It was reported last week that Nantes and Paris FC had reached a €7m agreement for the transfer of Simon and a medical has now been concluded ahead of a three-year deal.
According to French publication L’Equipe, “Moses Simon has undergone his medical ahead of a transfer from FC Nantes to Paris FC as a three-year contract awaits. It was reported last week that the two clubs had agreed a €7 million transfer for the Nigerian international.”

Despite interests from fellow French clubs Stade Rennes and Olympique Marseille plus English Premier League side Everton, the former Genk winger chose Paris FC as his next destination ahead of the 2025/26 season.
During Simon’s time at the Stade de la Beaujoire, he helped the side avoid the drop to Ligue 2 and also reached two Coupe de France finals in 2022 and 2023. In 201 appearances for the Canaries, the Nigerian scored a total of 37 goals and provided a further 42 assists.
Simon’s imminent signing could spark a wave of high-profile arrivals at Paris FC in the summer transfer window, as the capital side prepares to compete in Ligue 1 for the first time in 46 years.
They have been linked with a move for DR Congo defender Chancel Mbemba, whose contract at Olympique Marseille is due to expire at the end of the month.
