All is set for the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations Draws ceremony, scheduled to be held in the city of Rabat, Morocco on Monday as the pots and procedures have been revealed.
Morocco will be the centre of attention as the 24 qualified teams get to find out their opponents when the draws are conducted at the Mohammed V National Theatre.
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) have also announced the procedure for the AFCON Draws:, which will see the 24 qualified teams drawn into six groups each containing four sides.
Host nation, Morocco, will be placed at the head of Group A, while reigning champions, Cote d’Ivoire, will head one of the other five groups as they sit in Pot 1.
The remainder of the qualified teams will be placed in Pots 1-4 based on their FIFA World Ranking on December 19, 2024.

Pot 2
Cameroon, Mali, Tunisia, South Africa, DR Congo and Burkina Faso
Pot 3
Gabon, Angola, Zambia, Uganda, Equatorial Guinea and Benin
Pot 4
Mozambique, Comoros, Tanzania, Sudan, Zimbabwe and Botswana
The CAF Africa Cup of Nations will be held from December 21, 2025 and end January 18, 2026, with the top two teams in each group as well as the four best third-placed teams qualifying for the round of 16.
