Luisa Kremleva, a Russian-born television model has been handed a suspended prison sentence and fined after admitting she made a false rape claim against AC Milan defender, Theo Hernandez.
Public prosecutors tried to get Kremleva jailed for two years as a consequence of the false claim made almost seven years ago, with court officials confirming she has now been handed the suspended sentence and fined just under $3,000.
The suspended sentence and fine come after Kremleva agreed to a hush-hush plea bargain deal with the public prosecutors, after admitting to perjuring herself with the false claims.
She had previously accused the France international of raping her outside of a nightclub in Marbella at the back of a Porsche, with the 28-year-old in danger of serving actual time if she becomes a repeat offender in the next two years.
Kremleva was charged with making a false criminal complaint following her arrest in January 2020 on a warrant after she failed to answer a court summons. The 28-year-old’s trial was then delayed by a string of suspensions, including one linked to medical treatment Kremleva was thought to have been undergoing when a previous court date was set.
