England forward, Marcus Rashford, has completed a move from Manchester United to Aston Villa on loan till the end of the season.

The move comes after Rashford lost his place in the United first team following Ruben Amorim’s appointment as the club’s head coach.

“I would like to thank Manchester United and Aston Villa for making this loan deal happen,” Rashford said in some of his first words as a Villa player. “I was lucky to have a few clubs approach me but Aston Villa was an easy decision.

He added, “I really admire the way that Aston Villa have been playing this season, and the managers’ ambitions. I just want to play football and am excited to get started. I wish everyone at Manchester United all the best for the rest of the season.”

Rashford could make his debut for Unai Emery’s team when they host Tottenham Hotspur in an FA Cup fourth round tie next Sunday.
