Slovakian winger, Samuel Malama Lusale, has completed a move to Manchester United Academy from Premier League rivals, Crystal Palace.

The 17-year-old turned down the scholarship deal at the Eagles to join the Red Devils, as per Fabrizio Romano.

Lusale made seven league appearances for the Crystal Palace under 18 side and is one of two teenagers joining the Red Devils.

He is joined at Old Trafford by James Overy who arrives from Australian side Perth Glory. The 17-year-old right back did not make a senior appearance while with the A-League side.

United have received necessary clearances from the Premier League and Football Association to seal the signings of the players. They have been included as under-21 options in the club’s league squad for the 2024-25 campaign.

Meanwhile, the club are also looking to complete the signing of Chido Obi-Martin, the 16-year-old striker from Arsenal.
