Late controversy has seen Manchester United progress to the FA Cup Fifth Round following a comeback2-1 win over Premier League rivals, Leicester City, at Old Trafford on Friday night.
The hosts were lacking in attacking ideas for the majority of the encounter and had Joshua Zirkzee and Harry Maguire to thank for a third win over the Foxes in all competitions this season.
Ruud van Nistelrooy’s Leicester actually opened scoring in the 42nd minute through Bobby De Cordova-Reid close range header at the end of a move sparked after Manuel Ugarte gave the ball away near the touchline.
Ruben Amorim rang the changes at half-time, with Alejandro Garnacho and Joshua Zirkzee coming in to provide a lift and the latter grabbing the equaliser in the 68th minute with the simplest of finishes after good work from Garnacho down the left flank.

Just when it seemed like the tie would be heading to extra-time, Harry Maguire popped up to score in the 93rd minute off a cross from Bruno Fernandes to send United through to the next round.
But the goal was hotly contested as the England center-half appeared to be in an offside position for the goal, but the absence of VAR in the FA Cup meant the goal stood, much to the visitors’ dismay.
The result marked the first time in United’s history that the club has won three times at home against the same team in the same campaign, having beaten Leicester 5-2 in the League Cup and 3-0 in the Premier League at Old Trafford.
