Birthday boy, Luka Doncic, was in his bag with a double-double as Los Angeles Lakers saw off Minnesota Timberwolves with a 111-102 win in the NBA on Thursday night.
26-year-old Luka posted 21 points and 13 rebounds in the game while LeBron James also finished with a double-double of 33 points and 17 rebounds in the win.
The Timberwolves’ night in LA was made even harder when Anthony Edwards was ejected from the game with just over five minutes left in the third quarter after picking up a second tech in the game.
Edwards will now miss Timberwolves’ next match against Utah Jazz, as Lakers get a fourth straight win to go fourth in the West standings ahead of a showdown against the Clippers.
