Premier League leaders, Liverpool, have received good news on the injury front ahead of their League Cup semi-final second leg showdown against Tottenham Hotspur at Anfield on Thursday night.
The Reds came away from the Vitality Stadium with a crucial 2-0 win to maintain a healthy gap at the top of the Premier League, but were left sweating over the fitness of Trent Alexander-Arnold after the full-back came off injured 70 minutes of the match.

Alexander-Arnold pulled up with pain in his thigh and signalled to be taken off, with Arne Slot summoning Conor Bradley off the bench to replace the 26-year-old England international.
But after undergoing further assessment, fears of Alexander-Arnold missing a few weeks were toned down as it turns out the full-back will only be out for a few days.
Alexander-Arnold is not expected to feature when Liverpool face Spurs in the League Cup semi-final second leg, with the Reds trailing by a goal from the first leg.
