NBA History has been made as LeBron James and LeBron ‘Bronny’ James jr. became the first father-son duo to play at the same time in the league when both filed featured together in the Los Angeles Lakers’ 110-103 win over Minnesota Timberwolves.

20-year-old Bronny James played only three minutes and contributed one rebound to the win, but the two and a half minutes playing together with his 39-year-old dad, LeBron, who is now in Year 22 of an iconic career, will last a lifetime in memory.

LeBron on his part scored 16 points in the win to complement Rui Hachimura with 18 points and Anthony Davis, who dominated the game with 36 points and 16 rebounds.

Anthony Edwards scored 27 points for the Timberwolves, while Julius Randle had 16 points and nine rebounds, and Donte DiVincenzo had 10 points in their Timberwolves debuts.

The historic night at the Crypto.com Arena also witnessed JJ Redick – a former team-mate of LeBron – make his debut as Lakers Head Coach and indeed, in coaching altogether as this is his first-ever coaching role at any level of basketball.
